Static Trapeze with Dynamic Movement with Jaime Bouvier

Description: In each class we will explore beats, balances, and flows. We will experiment with at least one dynamic skill, such as rolls, pops, and circles, and one static flow, such as wraps, twists, and posts. Many of these skills will involve catching the wave and feeling the flow.

All-Levels Straps with Neko

We will cover all the basic positions and movements of straps that create the foundation for move advanced skills. This includes meathooks, nutcrackers, flags, support wraps, swings, and flares. I like to think of straps as the most entertaining form strength training, so be ready for some hard work!

Join Terry and Kara for an all-levels Salsa-style dance lifts workshop! Whether you’re brand new to lifts or looking to refine your technique, this workshop is designed to build strength, trust, and creativity between partners. We’ll focus on salsa-style lifts, with most of the material pulled directly from the instructor’s own performance routines — but don’t worry, easier variations will be offered to suit all experience levels. This class goes over basic tumbling skills and the associated techniques. It is designed for beginners to intermediate-level tumblers. We will go over handstands, rolls, cartwheels, and front flipping. This class will also teach the progressions and drills to allow athletes to continue to grow on their own using the gym's resources.

Split Fabric Sequences, Drops, and Rolls with Jen Meullier
Wednesdays, February 5th and 12th, 2025 | 7:30-9:00 PM
This workshop is designed for the Intermediate to Advanced level Aerialist wanting to learn how to more effectively work in between the fabrics. Our main focus will be on getting you out of the comfort zone, learning how to work with split fabrics in the air without the use of foot locks. You'll learn how to use a few split fabric climbs as sneaky entries into other skills. We will also get into various dynamic rolls, and out of the box drops. All while learning how to dance in the air between the fabrics with multidimensional sequences.
