Description: This class will focus on fundamental solo and duo trapeze skills. Students will gain familiarity with the apparatus and learn several different beats, tempos and beginner release moves, and start working towards more dynamic skills. Difficulty of skills will be catered to the student in the class.
Group warm up provided at 5:00pm, or come any time between 5 and 6:30 to get yourself warmed up before the start of class
Instructor Bio: Jaime Bouvier specializes in duo skills. She started learning aerial silks at the Studio Cleveland in 2010 and came to Sokol Greater Cleveland for the higher ceilings. In 2015, she did a summer intensive in aerial hoop at the New England Center for Circus Arts [NECCA] to which she regularly returns for classes and workshops. Since then she has studied and taught silks, lyra, trapeze, straps, partner acro and more all over North America and Europe. She has performed professionally, with circus companies, in full-length productions, and corporate gigs, on all of these apparatus solo, and more happily with a partner, and most happily inventing new skills and tricks.

Cost: $60 for all three sessions (April 14, 21 and 28). Participants must register for the entire series (no drop-in classes permitted). The class fee includes open gym time before and after the class (5-6:30 & 7:30-8:30pm)
