Description: This class will cover the foundational skills used in aerial silks, including footlocks, climbs, hip keys, and inverts. Beginners will be introduced to the mechanics of each move and basic sequences while building strength, body awareness, and confidence in the air. Intermediate and advanced aerialists will be challenged to level up their basics, with a focus on smooth motion, straight arms or legs, and performance-ready polish.

Instructor Bio: Amanda started her circus journey in 2014 in Cleveland, Ohio with a focus in aerial silks. Amanda has particular interests in teaching silks beginners, developing new pathways and skills, and learning new climbs. Amanda has taught classes and workshops at Sokol Greater Cleveland and The Studio Cleveland.

Prerequisites: None

Cost: $80 for all four sessions (April 7, 14, 21, and 28). Participants must register for the entire series (no drop-in classes permitted). The class fee includes open gym time after the class (6:30-8:00pm)
